Overview
Job Purpose The Quantitative Risk Management Analyst (Quant) joins a very dynamic team at a leading over-the-counter (OTC) credit derivatives clearinghouse. The role involves exposure to and challenges with complex pricing and risk management problems, requiring quantitative research, large-scale implementations, support for numerical libraries, model development and prototyping, as well as support for state-of-the-art front-office pricing and risk management systems. The primary role for this position will be to support and become a key contributor to the creation of innovative pricing and risk solutions and systems in a peer-reviewed environment, as well as to support and contribute toward the design and implementation of new business initiatives. This role also requires the quantitative analysis of daily and real-time market information for this industry-leading OTC credit derivatives clearinghouse. The Quantitative Risk Management Analyst will also be responsible for supporting all aspects of the risk model implementations, as well as day-to-day pricing and risk management, and for leading their improvements and enhancements, including identifying, developing, and overseeing risk management processes, controls, tools, and techniques. The analyst must be results-oriented and self-motivated, and must have the ability to thrive in small teams and very fast-paced environments. This role requires frequent interaction with risk developers, risk managers, quants, and senior management. The candidate must have the ability to work independently; excellent communication skills; excellent organizational skills; and decision-making ability. Responsibilities
Knowledge and Experience
Illinois Base Salary Range The expected base salary for this role if located in Illinois is between $85,000 - $115,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
