**This is a hybrid position that requires working from prAna's Carlsbad area HQ at least 3 days a week.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The DTC Performance Marketing Channel Analyst will deliver and operationalize multiple data and business initiatives for prAna's direct to consumer business. The role is responsible for enabling marketers, merchandisers, and site managers to optimize the business for growth through data driven insights and recommendations.

The role is a partner to the VP of Global Direct to Consumer and the Director of eCommerce & Performance Marketing with high-level, confidential, and strategic communications. This role works closely with many areas of the direct-to-consumer business as well as the finance, wholesale and enterprise analytics and data teams.

HOWYOU'LLMAKE A DIFFERENCE

Analytics Management:

  • Serve as the trusted data and analytics partner to provide direction through quantitative and qualitative analyses

  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboard for consumer analytics use cases

  • Maintain backlog of consumer analytics use cases and support business owners in assessing value opportunity and feasibility; Provide recommendations for enhancements based on aggregated use case needs

  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives to drive continuous improvement

  • Manage A/B testing strategy, design and execution for site conversion optimization

  • Collaborate with the website technology team to identify gaps in data capture strategy and implement enhancements; partner with IT/IS to maintain internal data accuracy, conduct hygiene audits as needed

  • Oversee analytics integrations with site and 3rd parties ensuring accuracy in collection of key data points

  • Provide strategic guidance on emerging trends, best practices, and technologies in customer data management and analytics + Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and customer-centricity across the organization.

YOU ARE

  • Someone who excels at working with all levels of management/teams, including but not limited to Executives, Directors, Managers, Analysts, Coordinators, in an analytics role to optimize business performance

  • Known for being a thought leader and analytics subject matter expert

  • A skilled analytics translator between brand business partners and technical teams

  • A savvy communicator who can resolve conflict, remove roadblocks, and lead decision-making when critical issues arise

YOUHAVE

  • 5+ years of experience in business or marketing analytics and reporting for the direct-to-consumer industry, preferably apparel

  • Demonstrated experience using advanced Excel features and techniques required, and ability to teach others; experience with Adobe Analytics or similar; Experience with modeling and developing functional reporting and dashboards in Power BI or similar; Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word and PowerPoint

  • Experience working with a variety of information systems and data files, including large and complex files: analyzing file structures, using and creating file layouts, transforming raw data into finished products

  • Experience and ability to interpret wisdom from data to inform and develop future direction and sales growth drivers

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business, Finance, IS, Data Analytics, or equivalent
