Job Summary

The Clinical Engineer 4 operates as a technical leader with a high degree of knowledge in the overall field and recognized in specific areas of but not limited to: CMMS Support, Technology assessment, Value Planning, Administrative and technical support for High-tech Medical equipment, providing Medical device Engineering support to clinicians, and taking initiatives to improve patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Biomedical Engineering and/or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience in healthcare facility, medical device manufacturer, or other medical device-based business.
  • Advanced knowledge of Complex medical systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer systems and communications technology (wired and wireless).
  • Advanced knowledge of human physiology and anatomy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Clinical Engineer (CCE) is desirable.
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Biomedical Engineering.

Special Requirements

  • Work hours: M-F, 8-5pm. May be occasionally required to work alternative shifts at the discretion of the department management and with proper notification. Willing to work overtime for special projects.
  • This position is a critical position and subject to a background check and drug screen. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background investigation including criminal history, identity checks and drug screen.
