Work Schedule:

Full-time, 100% FTE, day shift position. Shifts are scheduled Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm, no weekends are required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking an Outpatient Pediatric Clinical Speech Language Pathologist to:



  • Provide consultative and developmentally appropriate habilitative and rehabilitative treatment services to complex pediatric patients (infant to adolescent) in an outpatient setting in the domains of voice, feeding/swallowing, airway, and craniofacial anomalies.
  • Have interest and some experience with feeding and swallowing difficulties in young children.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive evidence-based patient and family treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes.
  • Work within the context of patient- and family- centered care as part of a primary and specialty care academic medical center.

Education:

Minimum - Master's degree in speech-language pathology

Work Experience:

Minimum -



  • Completion of Clinical Speech Language Pathology Fellowship
  • Experience in diagnostics specific to area of specialty
  • Experience in providing therapy in the relevant area of specialty (e.g. speech, language, cognition, voice, airway, resonance, or swallow therapy)


Preferred -



  • Completion of Clinical Speech Language Pathology Fellowship
  • Seven (7) or more years of clinical experience post Clinical Speech Language Pathology Fellowship
  • Experience in diagnostics specific to area of specialty
  • Experience in providing therapy in the relevant area of specialty (e.g. speech, language, cognition, voice, airway, resonance, or swallow therapy)
  • Experience supervising a learner.


Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum -



  • WI Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • ASHA certified (CCC-SLP) or eligible for certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within three months of hire
