Work Schedule:

20 FTE%, part-time position. Day shift, Monday - Friday, during the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics Diagnostic Medical Sonography program's winter and spring break. You will work at University Hospital and float to other locations as needed in Madison, WI.

We are seeking some Student Help for Cardiovascular Sonography to:



  • Perform cardiac or vascular ultrasound studies appropriate for their level of schooling.
  • Recognize peripheral cardiac or vascular pathology in order for the physician to render a diagnosis.
  • Maintain composure under stress, using tact and good judgment.
  • Apply analytical decision-making skills necessary to quickly assess and resolve technical and patient care problems and issues.
  • Use strong interpersonal skills in relating to medical and hospital staff.

Education:

Minimum - Current student in the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

Work Experience:

Minimum - Six (6) months to one (1) year as a student in the UW HC School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography with passing clinical evaluations and grades.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification
