Facilities Engineer

Job Description:

R&D Altanova is looking for a Facilities Engineer at our Race Street, Allentown facility. You will primarily be responsible for planning factory projects, managing contractors, maintaining equipment, and performing routine maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute various projects with limited supervision.
• Perform assigned day-to-day repairs/improvements, emergency repairs, and preventive maintenance on production and support equipment.
• Become familiar with all production equipment and respond quickly to equipment issues.
• Respond quickly to emergency repair requests.
• Assist with production floor layout changes and coordinate associated services.
• Work with managers and supervisors to solve basic production support issues.
• Understand and follow 5S continuous improvement culture.
