Panorama is looking to hire an experienced, self-motivated Appliance Repair Technician for our Building Maintenance team!

This position maintains and repairs the household and commercial appliances and equipment of Panorama in accordance with the corporation's goal to provide a safe, attractive, and functional facility for our residents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Replaces and installs all major appliances.
  • Research, troubleshoot, maintain and repair household and commercial appliances.
  • Maintains company vehicles in a clean and organized manner; notifies the supervisor of any needed repairs.
  • Works with supervisor and other maintenance employees in assessing problems and their solutions as part of the maintenance team.


OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrates a high proficiency and understanding of systems such as, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, appliance repair, carpentry and code compliance.
  • Basic computers skills to include researching product, techniques and solutions.
  • Ability to use and interpret testing and data logging equipment
  • Demonstrates courtesy, friendliness, and helpfulness to all residents, other workers, potential residents, and the general public as a representative of Panorama.
  • Performs all duties in a safe manner.



EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION

  • High school education or the equivalent


EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in maintenance repair techniques required, with a high degree of proficiency and minimal need for supervision.
  • GE brand appliance experience preferred


Incumbent will drive a company vehicle as needed to transport equipment or supplies, or to move around the campus. Incumbent must have and maintain a valid Washington State Driver's License and a good driving record, and must inform their supervisor or the Human Resource Director if incumbent's driver's license becomes invalid for any reason.

Upon completion of training, maintenance employees will work a rotational schedule, which includes being on-call. During the on-call period, the incumbent must respond and be onsite within 30 minutes.
