Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $17.00/hour Shift: 1st or 2nd Hours: 6:00am - 4:00pm or 12:00pm - 10:00pm (Monday - Thursday) Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Machine Operator at a company in Manitowoc, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 2nd shift. Apply now! Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Ensure machine is setup properly, double check to make sure all adjustments have been made for container being run - Measure product weights and correct container and lids are being used - Measure nuts and candies for the product and run the fruit feeders - Measure variegates and run the fudge pumps and variegates - Understand and have knowledge of the freezers knowing how to start up, do setting, and speed of freezers for the product to be run - Wash mix tanks when necessary - Taste product at start up to make sure it tastes right - Fill out paperwork thoroughly and completely - Double check labels and code date for product and tape color when running product that uses tape - Make sure that all containers, lids, candies, and variegates are closed and marked properly and put away Requirements for Machine Operator: - High School Diploma or GED preferred - Previous experience preferred - Positive attitude - Flexibility with hours - Self-starter with initiative and motivation - Able to stand, bend and twist throughout shift - Able to lift 50+ pounds - Able to work in 60 to 80 room temperature but are exposed to refrigerator and freezer temperatures - Able to work in wet conditions IND043 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
