Partnering with Aquent, we invite you to join a visionary enterprise that is redefining the landscape of product development within the automotive and manufacturing sectors. This is an unparalleled opportunity to contribute to the creation of next-generation vehicles and shape the future of mobility. You will play a crucial role in a transformative journey, migrating from legacy systems to a cutting-edge SaaS platform, directly impacting how groundbreaking products are brought to market.

Are you ready to drive significant impact by architecting the future of product development? We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate software engineer to spearhead the design, build, and maintenance of our enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) platform. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in transforming our legacy systems into a modern, high-performance Planisware ecosystem, directly influencing the speed and efficiency with which new vehicle models and innovations reach the world. You will work closely with thought leaders and technical leads, providing technical direction and execution planning, fostering a high-collaboration environment focused on innovation and strategic alignment.

What You Will Do

  • Core Application Engineering: Engineer clean, modular, and maintainable custom code within Planisware V7 Enterprise, leveraging advanced scripting paradigms (OPX2Script / L7).
  • Data & Object Modeling: Architect scalable data models, objects, macro-attributes, and custom database schemas within the Planisware engine to support sophisticated engineering analytics.
  • API & System Integration: Design and implement robust, low-latency APIs and web services (REST/SOAP, IntelliTx, Open-API) to seamlessly connect Planisware with critical enterprise systems such as SAP, Jira, Azure, and Data Lakes.
  • Performance Engineering: Diagnose complex technical bottlenecks, meticulously profile memory usage, conduct advanced code reviews, and optimize heavily nested SQL queries to ensure maximum system performance.
  • DevOps & Release Management: Manage code versioning using Git/GitHub, orchestrate multi-environment code synchronization, integrate automated testing scripts into deployment pipelines, and manage development tasks within Jira.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement enterprise-grade authentication, authorization, and data encryption standards (OAuth, SAML) across the Planisware and company environments.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in Software Engineering, with at least 3 years of dedicated, hands-on engineering and customization within Planisware Enterprise.
  • Advanced Coding: Proficient-level mastery of Planisware Scripting Language (OPX2Script / L6 / L7) and advanced dynamic reporting architecture.
  • Tech Stack Overlap: Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, Python, or standard web application architectures that integrate with enterprise systems.
  • Integration Engineering: Deep technical experience building and troubleshooting enterprise-scale web services, microservices, and asynchronous data pipelines.
  • Database Engineering: Strong proficiency in relational database architecture (Oracle, SQL Server) and writing complex, highly optimized SQL queries.
  • Software Practices: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, and SDLC best practices.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Industry Domain: Experience mapping engineering data, R&D budgets, or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) data structures in an automotive or manufacturing context.
  • Certification: Planisware Developer certification.
