Aquent is partnering with a major Healthcare company that is dedicated to improving lives and transforming the healthcare landscape. This organization is at the forefront of leveraging data to drive strategic decisions, optimize operations, and enhance patient care. Joining this team means contributing to a mission-driven environment where your work directly impacts the efficiency and effectiveness of critical enterprise functions.

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Analytics Engineer to join a dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in transforming complex data into actionable insights across Enterprise Procurement and Supplier Management. You'll design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge analytical solutions that directly inform strategic business decisions, optimize spend, and drive operational efficiencies. Your expertise will not only enhance data visibility but also empower cross-functional teams to make data-driven choices that shape the future of healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deliver, and maintain self-serve analytics dashboards, reports, scorecards, and executive-ready analyses spanning payments, procurement, supplier management, savings, and data governance.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with Finance, Category Management, Supplier Management, IT, and Systems teams to align on business definitions, KPI assumptions, data flows, and strategic recommendations.
  • Optimize spend and working capital by analyzing invoice data, payment cycles, purchase orders, maverick spend, cycle times, and payment terms to identify actionable improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Drive procurement forecasting and modeling by establishing and maintaining methodologies and scenario models for spend, savings, pipeline activity, and contract renewals, while rigorously tracking forecast performance.
  • Perform comprehensive contract and supplier analytics, evaluating supplier performance, risk, sustainability, diversity, and contract metadata to enable base rationalization and proactively track upcoming expirations and renewals.
  • Lead financial tie-out activities with Finance and key stakeholders to validate cost savings accuracy and eliminate duplicate recognition.
  • Benchmark purchase prices and procurement performance indicators against market data to pinpoint risk areas and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Establish robust data quality and governance frameworks, including creating data validation rules, executing reconciliations, conducting audits, developing source-to-report documentation, and maintaining data dictionaries to ensure high data integrity across systems.
  • Partner with IT on data mapping and reporting requirements for system integrations, while providing technical guidance, office hours, and documentation to empower internal users.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical experience) with 5+ years of experience leading complex data analytics, business intelligence, procurement analytics, or finance analytics initiatives.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for complex data extraction, reconciliation, and validation.
  • Proven expertise in developing dashboards using Power BI or a comparable business intelligence tool.
  • Demonstrated track record creating forecasts, projections, benchmarks, and performance metrics that directly inform strategic business decisions.
  • Proven ability to establish data validation rules, execute reconciliations, trace root causes, and document data flows, business logic, and definitions.
  • Outstanding ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical frameworks and clearly convey complex technical findings to non-technical leaders.
  • Strong organizational skills to independently prioritize and manage a portfolio of concurrent projects with minimal supervision.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Prior experience in procurement, supply chain, strategic sourcing, accounts payable, strategic spend analytics, working capital analysis, or Healthcare analytics.
  • Hands-on experience working with enterprise procurement and contract systems such as Oracle, Coupa, Zip, or iCertis.
  • Experience applying statistical analysis, financial modeling, or scenario analysis in a large-enterprise environment.
