What You'll Do

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain robust web UI and REST APIs, ensuring seamless functionality and exceptional user experience.
• Provide critical production support and actively troubleshoot applications to ensure stability and reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement in technology, processes, and overall system performance.
• Champion and integrate approved AI tools and AI-assisted engineering practices to accelerate development, elevate code quality, enhance testing efficiency, and streamline documentation.
• Participate in rigorous design, code, and AI-assisted code validation reviews, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Develop impactful solutions that directly contribute to strategic objectives and significant growth.
• Collaborate effectively within an Agile scrum environment, actively contributing to team success and shared goals.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (product, architecture, security) to explore AI-enabled application patterns, automation opportunities, and responsible AI considerations.
• Elevate code quality, refine requirements, and improve design methodologies through active engagement with development teams.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing integrations and software for peak performance.
• Create essential project artifacts, including technical specifications, AI usage notes, and solution design documentation.
• Identify technology risks proactively and establish comprehensive mitigation plans.
• Provide hands-on development, AI-assisted engineering guidance, and mentorship to team members.

What You Bring

• Minimum of 5 years of robust experience in application development.
• Demonstrated proficiency in .NET development, encompassing coding, debugging, refactoring, test creation, documentation, and code review workflows.
• Expertise in building client/server-side applications using .NET.
• Strong understanding of relational and SQL database concepts, with 3-5 years of experience and proficiency in SQL Server.
• 1-3 years of experience creating and integrating REST APIs.
• Understanding of AI application development patterns, including prompt engineering, model/API integration, retrieval-augmented workflows, intelligent automation, and human oversight of AI-generated outputs.
• Proven ability to debug and troubleshoot complex full-stack applications.
• Familiarity with large dataset manipulation, movement techniques, and associated challenges.
• Proficiency in Agile software development methodologies and practices.
• Comfortable utilizing industry-standard tools such as Jira, GitHub, or similar platforms for project management and version control.
• Adept at leveraging approved AI developer productivity tools (e.g., AI coding assistants, prompt-based code exploration, AI-supported documentation/test generation) with sound engineering judgment.
• UI development experience with a single-page application framework.
• Experience with native cloud architecture or Pivotal Cloud Foundry equivalent.
• Comfort with Git for source code management, branching, and merging.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, coupled with a design-first mindset.
• Working knowledge of AI application development concepts, including prompt engineering, AI-assisted coding tools, model integration patterns, responsible AI practices, and practical use of generative AI in software delivery.

What Will Set You Apart

• Experience in financial technology domains and/or Angular or other single-page application development.
• Proficiency with SSIS or other data load/ETL tools.
• Demonstrated experience developing or integrating AI-enabled applications, intelligent workflows, or enterprise productivity solutions using modern AI platforms and APIs.
• Experience designing secure and scalable AI-enabled features, including integration with enterprise APIs, data pipelines, cloud services, and quality controls.
• Background in enterprise system production support, DevOps, and release management.
• Continuous integration experience with tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Prior experience building applications or platforms within the financial services industry.
• Experience with enterprise public cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, Azure, or equivalent platforms.
• Proficiency with Bamboo for CI/CD deployment automation and Python for service automation.
• Familiarity with cloud-native design patterns.
• Development experience with a focus on performance, application security, and other non-functional requirements.
• Knowledge of responsible AI practices, including AI output validation, data privacy, application security, and governance considerations for enterprise AI solutions.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and familiarity with Docker/containerization.
• Understanding of cloud concepts such as cloud deployments, microservice infrastructure, cloud configuration, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline.
