Operate truck in a safe manner abiding by all applicable State and local transportation laws and regulations. Maintain D.O.T. standards. Perform daily pre-trip and post inspections on vehicle prior to starting route. Maintain daily log of scheduled stops. Notify supervisor of any defects. Maintain constant communication with supervisor via telephone. Move/ pack/ load furniture and household items at home pickups/ community yard sales /estate clean outs while under supervision of donation manager/ donation coordinator. Load and unload vehicles in manner to safeguard donated items from breakage. Keep the vehicle clean inside and out. Assist in warehouse operations- loading/ unloading trailers, salvage operations and cleaning/ organization as needed. Must be able to be forklift certified. Other duties as assigned
