HJF is seeking a Sr Clinical Research Coordinator to obtain qualified research and development management and coordination capability necessary to support planning, execution, documentation, and closeout of Continuous Fitness Assessment (CFA) Continuous Operational Readiness Evaluation (CORE) Program.

This position will be in support of 711 Human Performance Wing, Air & Space Biosciences Division, Airman Performance Branch, Continuous Operational Readiness Evaluation Program.

  • Provide research-coordination capability that enables CFA CORE activities to be completed
  • Determine the staffing approach, internal processes and methods necessary to achieve required outcomes, subject to applicable laws, regulations, contract requirements and Government-approved research procedures
  • Ensure program activities are coordinated across participants, study locations, research personnel, laboratories, vendors and stakeholder with current visibility of schedules, milestones, risks, decision and actions items.
  • Ensure eligible participants are recruited, enrolled, supported and tracked in accordance with approved procedures while maintaining voluntary and noncoercive participation
  • Ensure study activities are supported by complete, current and audit-ready regularity documentation, and participant rights, safety, privacy and confidentiality are protected
  • Ensure participant assessments and laboratory activities are scheduled, completed, and documented within applicable protocol windows.
  • Provide the government with timely, accurate and decision-relevant information regarding study execution, and study records and responsibilities are effectively transitioned at cohort and contract closeout.
  • Prepare weekly study-status reports/monthly execution summaries, participant communications, site instructions, operational reports and briefing materials. Maintain contact rosters/distribution lists.
  • Coordinate physical performance assessments, blood draws, surveys, cognitive assessments, device activities, supplies, equipment, scheduling, specimen collection, processing, labeling, shipment, tracking, receipt/issue resolution, chain-of-custody records.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for role.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in sciences, research administration, project management or a related field
  • Minimum of 6-8 years' experience supporting human performance research required.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in participant coordination, research scheduling, regulatory documentation, longitudinal tracking, equipment accountability, data completion monitoring, or multi-site research support.
  • Experience in wearable technology or biomarker research
  • Department of Defense research experience
  • Institutional Review Board submission experience for human-subject protection, research ethics, privacy and records-management requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint
  • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required installation, network, system and information access credentials
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a T1/Public Trust background check.

Work Environment

  • This position will take place primarily in an office/laboratory setting.

Compensation

  • The annual salary range for this position is $93,100-$110,000. Actual salary will be determined based on experience, education, etc.
