Overview: Ski Patrol is responsible for the overall safety and security of the snow sports area and is expected to check all open trails for hazards, bamboo placed if needed and/or removed in snow making areas, removing any obstructions on open terrain and report snow conditions to lead patrol/hill captain, lift supervisor, and Director of Recreation. All Ski Patrol team members are responsible for responding immediately to emergency incidents. Responsibilities: Responsible for opening and closing the trails. Responsible for marking and removing any hazards on trails. Respond to medical emergencies on the mountain as well as on property. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the patrol director. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum qualification of first responder. Current OEC certification/EMT or above. Must be advanced/expert skier/snowboarder. Must be able to work in a crowded, fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time indoors and outdoors. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
