Position Title: Forklift/Crane Operator
Wage: $21.70 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-2:00pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great Forklift/Crane Operator position available at a company in Moline, IL. This is a 1st shift, temporary position. Forklift/Crane Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move steel products and materials. - Operate overhead cranes to transport steel products and materials throughout the facility. - Load, unload, transport, and stage materials in designated locations. - Assist with inventory movement, organization, and material tracking. - Prepare materials for relocation, transport, and storage. - Perform daily inspections of forklifts, overhead cranes, and related equipment. - Maintain safe material handling practices while moving heavy products. - Support facility transition and relocation activities. - Assist with warehouse organization and material staging. - Follow all safety procedures, operational guidelines, and company policies. - Maintain a clean and organized work area. Forklift/Crane Operator Requirements: - Previous forklift operating experience and/or overhead crane operating experience required. - Ability to work safely in an industrial manufacturing or warehouse environment. - Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures. - Strong attention to safety and detail. - Reliable attendance and punctuality. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Ability to lift, carry, move, and position materials as required. - Strong communication skills and a positive work ethic. - Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. - Ability to lift and move materials as required. - Ability to work around heavy equipment and moving materials. - Ability to work in a warehouse or industrial environment.
