What you will enjoy doing*
- As a Helium Technician you will be commmitted to personal safety and environmental accountability, ensuring adherence to Linde lone worker policies
- Required to load, unload, and secure products in accordance with DOT standards, maintaining professionalism and communicate effectively with operations, logistics, and management
- Fill liquid and gas helium bulk containers to meet quality management system standards, ensuring 100% compliance with customer specifications
- Handle hazardous materials safely and troubleshoot analytical issues, making informed decisions
- Familiar with compression equipment and safely startup/shutdown process equipment as needed
- Issue Safe Work Permits and use LOTO to ensure safe work conditions, while reading and understanding P&IDs and process controls
- You will be required to perform duties under minimal supervision in diverse weather conditions, completing documentation accurately and participating in training programs for compliance
What makes you great
- You have a high School Diploma or equivalent is required; a 2-year associates degree
- Industrial experience with liquid/gaseous product filling/unloading is preferred
- A valid driver license with an acceptable record is necessary
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Email, are required
- You must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, including drug and alcohol test
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential
- You must be willing to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and live or relocate within 45 miles of reporting location
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, with up to 10% travel required and ability to meet physical demands including frequent lifting of up to 75 pounds
