This bonus is for currently certified lifeguards only. Eligible certified lifeguards will receive $500 after 90 days of employment.

Please note: The $500 sign-on bonus is only available to candidates who have a current lifeguard certification at the time of hire.

Qualified applicants who are not currently certified may be eligible for FREE lifeguard certification training through the YMCA.

Candidates who receive certification through the YMCA are not eligible for the $500 certified lifeguard sign-on bonus unless they meet the requirement of having a current certification at the time of hire.

• Actively monitor the pool and help maintain a safe environment for members and participants.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow YMCA safety procedures.
• Create a welcoming and positive experience for members and program participants.
• Maintain a clean and organized pool environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
