Position Title: Electrical Assembler
Wage: $25.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm Feeling underpaid or undervalued? This could be the position that you deserve! Electrical Assembler Responsibilities: - Assemble mechanical and electrical components into custom finished products - Assemble electrical control panels, including mounting electrical components such as relays, PLCs, and VFDs onto subpanels - Mount HMIs and control instruments onto panel doors - Wire components according to electrical drawings and wiring diagrams - Perform mechanical assembly on panels, including installation of wireways, terminal blocks, and related components - Perform basic plumbing within electrical panels when required - Wire, assemble, and inspect electrical cabinets according to engineering drawings - Verify wiring, connections, components, and overall product quality - Complete assembly and testing tasks in a timely, safe, and thorough manner - Resolve or report assembly issues, discrepancies, and quality concerns - Prepare completed products for packaging and shipment Requirements for Electrical Assembler: - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related work experience - Previous electrical or mechanical manufacturing experience preferred - Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly - Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and job-related documents - Ability to read and write English, perform basic addition and subtraction, and follow written and verbal instructions - Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise assembly and repair work - Ability to inspect work for quality and accuracy - Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, or more with assistance when required IND104 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
