Job Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist manages full-cycle recruiting activities for an assigned employee population and supports approximately 100-150 requisitions. This role partners with hiring managers and HR leaders to define hiring needs, source and screen candidates, coordinate interviews, manage offers, and support candidates through onboarding. The position requires strong recruiting expertise, communication skills, and the ability to manage a high-volume workload while identifying opportunities to improve recruiting efficiency and candidate experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting activities from staffing needs through hiring and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR leaders to define role requirements and develop candidate profiles.
- Source and engage qualified and diverse candidates using creative and data-informed sourcing strategies.
- Review resumes and assess candidate qualifications against position requirements.
- Conduct candidate pre-screening and provide hiring managers with candidate summaries and recommendations.
- Coordinate interviews and guide hiring leaders through the interview and selection process.
- Process offers and support candidates through the hiring and onboarding process.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate status information in applicant tracking systems.
- Identify new candidate sourcing channels and talent pools.
- Support recruiting initiatives focused on building diverse candidate pipelines.
- Represent the organization professionally to internal and external candidates.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting efficiency, processes, and cost effectiveness.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support talent acquisition objectives.
- Monitor recruiting activity and manage a high volume of requisitions while maintaining a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience managing recruiting activities throughout the full talent acquisition lifecycle.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems throughout the recruiting process.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage approximately 100-150 requisitions.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Ability to build effective relationships with hiring managers, HR leaders, candidates, and other stakeholders.
- Strong sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate evaluation skills.
- Ability to work in a corporate office environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related discipline preferred.
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience preferred.
- Workday experience preferred.
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred.
- Familiarity with current recruiting trends and sourcing strategies preferred.
- Experience partnering with business leaders on talent acquisition initiatives preferred.
Education
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related discipline preferred.
