Imaging Clinical Aide

POSITION SUMMARY

A Clinical Aide assists nurses, technologists, radiologists, and clerical staff in providing service and assistance to patients undergoingprocedures in the Radiology Department. Incumbents in this position may perform all, or a combination of the duties described,depending upon their assigned work area and the specific needs of the department.

Primary Duties:

• Prepares patients for procedures by verifying orders, positioning patients, assisting with transport, and ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process.

• Sets up procedure rooms by maintaining sterile fields, preparing trays and supplies, loading contrast per manufacturer guidelines, and ensuring equipment readiness.

• Maintains department operations by monitoring environmental cleanliness, stocking supplies, managing inventory, andcoordinating withSterile Processing.

• Supports departmental workflow by transporting specimens, retrieving medications and blood products, and serving as liaison between Radiology and support services.

• Provides administrative and team support by assisting at reception, communicating patient delays, maintaining records, and participating in onboarding and training of new staff.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma(Required) with additional training or

• Experience as a CNA
