About the role

The Project ManagerSr(PM)is responsible formanaging,directingand overseeing thedelivery ofassigned projects and programs.The PM provides visible leadership,accountabilityand authority over high profile projects and programs delivered to Insight clients. The PM works independently andexhibitsa high degree of initiative in resolving problemsencounteredand developing recommended solutions.The PM must be flexiblein deliveringprojects with different methodologies based on client and team needs.Job responsibilities include:

• Manage projectand programteams to deliver highly visibly strategic solutions for our clientsusing waterfall, hybrid,and agile methodologies.
• Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle from initiation through close-out and transition.
• Help define and drive strategicdirectionofboth Insight and our clients.
• Build key relationships withclientsand leaders.
• Mitigaterisk andproactivelywork project issues.
• Drive tangible and sustainable improvement in PM capabilities.
• Assistwithbusiness development activities to grow Insight Services business.
• Mentor less experienced Project Managers.

What you'll need to join Insight:

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university

• 7years'related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the IT services, ITOperationsor professional services industry.

• Experience with hybrid methodologies and agile deliveryof technicalprojects.

• PMPor Agile certification.

• Track recordof success guiding and leading project teams to success.

• Skillsin all aspects of project management lifecycle and critical processes:

• Project Initiation

• Planning and Work Breakdown

• Resource Management

• Budget Management

• Stakeholder Management

• Scope Management

• Risk Management

• Mustbe passionate about continuous improvement.

• Must be able to manage technical resources working on multiple projects seamlessly.

• Must be an excellent communicator - both written and oral.

• Must have excellent customer relationship management skills.

The base salary range for this position is typically $110,000 to $130,000 with additional bonus and benefits available. However, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, including experience and location, and we will also consider candidates outside of this range as necessary.
