The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project schedules, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and action items across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Support program management office activities, strategic planning efforts, governance, compliance reporting, and operational transition initiatives.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, develop agendas and briefing materials, document meeting outcomes, and track actions to completion.
  • Support planning, execution, and reporting for campus operations and maintenance activities.
  • Develop briefings, fact sheets, communications materials, reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations.
  • Monitor project performance, risks, issues, and dependencies and coordinate mitigation and resolution activities.
  • Support facilities and infrastructure initiatives, modernization efforts, process improvements, and operational transitions.
  • Coordinate collaboration among facilities, engineering, operations, planning, and management stakeholders.
  • Provide technical design guidance and recommendations consistent with industry best practices. .

Operational Requirements:


  • Available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time.
  • Respond to Government requests for discussion or resolution of technical issues within four hours of notification.
  • Ability to support onsite meetings and stakeholder engagements in the National Capital Region as required.

Required Qualifications:



  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum seven years of experience performing duties that directly support leadership in project or program management environments.
  • Experience coordinating activities, schedules, deliverables, risks, communications, and strategic planning and execution.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting daily operations and maintenance functions for a campus complex or comparable large facility environment.
  • Experience supporting facilities management, infrastructure, real property, or comparable federal programs.
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings, preparing executive briefings, developing reports, and tracking actions to completion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, team-building, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience working directly with Government customers, CORs, senior leadership, and integrated teams of subject matter experts.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience supporting GSA, DoD, or another comparable federal agency.
  • Experience supporting federal facilities, campus environments, infrastructure programs, or O&M contracts.
  • Familiarity with facilities management systems, computerized maintenance management systems, asset management, lifecycle planning, compliance reporting, or campus governance.
  • Experience supporting facility transition, modernization, organizational transformation, or operational improvement initiatives.
