Key Responsibilities



  • Oversee and maintain fixed asset and lease accounting schedules, ensuring full compliance with GAAP and organizational standards.
  • Execute comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual period close processes, including precise journal entries, allocations, and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare complex general ledger account reconciliations, detailed cost reports, accurate bank reconciliations, and essential regulatory financial reports.
  • Leverage Workday and the Microsoft ecosystem automation tools (such as Power Automate and advanced Excel functions) to optimize workflows, significantly reduce manual processing, and enhance data accuracy.
  • Analyze complex financial data, effectively communicating findings, limitations, and guidance to non-finance stakeholders across the organization.
  • Prepare federal, state, and other regulatory reports, ensuring complete compliance with established guidelines and reporting mandates.


Must-Have Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Proven experience in fixed asset accounting and lease accounting within an enterprise or health system setting.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Workday financial modules.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing Microsoft ecosystem automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Excel advanced functions) to improve accounting workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax, and local, state, and federal regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts for non-finance users.


Nice-to-Have Qualifications



  • Prior experience working within a healthcare or health system environment.
