Your Job

INVISTA is looking for a driven Global Finance Manager to join our business finance team in Wichita, KS. This role will supervise our global consolidations of financial results and distribution finance capability for the Nylon business. A successful candidate will build relationships with key partners, work to identify and drive opportunities and strategic initiatives, and be passionate about developing a high performing global capability. This position is ideal for a candidate who thinks both economically and critically, enjoys working with a broad range of individuals and capabilities, and thrives influencing both directly and indirectly.


What You Will Do

  • Promote an environment of effective partnering with business leaders and various capabilities within the organization to maximize value creation and enhance decision making
  • Create a high performing team through an emphasis on talent identification, recruiting, development and retention with responsibility for leading and developing a culture of Principled Entrepreneurs
  • Partner closely with finance team members to drive accountability, identify key performance drivers, uncover profitable opportunities, and improve business performance through meaningful metrics, actionable recommendations, and global consistency
  • Collaborate between regional commercial finance teams to ensure financial statements reflect true performance. Work to develop a global financial story with logical framing and appropriate detail to a wide range of audiences, including Koch and INVISTA stakeholders
  • Work closely with supply chain & logistics leadership, as well as other members of the business team, to provide insights into business performance and develop measures around strategies and key performance drivers on fixed distribution and variable freight/logistics spend
  • Support various global reporting requirements including valuation, goodwill analysis, 5-year pro forma buildout, and Board of Directors reporting

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience leading or supervising employees
  • Experience applying key accounting concepts, business analysis, and financial statement analysis and leveraging it to build capability in the organization
  • Previous experience in building relationships and influencing outcomes across many different stakeholders and business partners
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business-related field
  • 5+ years of applied financial analysis, economic modeling, plant cost analysis, or commercial development experience
  • FP&A background/modeling experience which includes key driver analysis, economic framing, business strategies, and innovative approaches to visualization
  • Previous experience related to the Chemical Industry
  • Experience with Generative AI
