Koch Capabilities, LLC is seeking a Senior Tax Manager/Reporting Team Lead for the Koch Investments Group (KIG).

The KCC Global Tax Reporting Team Lead - Koch Investments Group will help develop, maintain, and report on efficient tax structures. The successful candidate will build a strong understanding of the business group's commercial operations to ensure appropriate tax treatment of business matters and identify value-creating opportunities. This leader will assess staffing needs to maximize productivity, develop managers and staff, set and advance team objectives, and motivate the team to deliver results with urgency. The ideal candidate is also a strategic, big-picture thinker.

This role can be based out of our Wichita, KS or Plano, TX offices.

What You Will Do

* Analyze tax return items to ensure reporting accurately reflects business operations and tax positions

* Partner with the Tax Director to align initiatives and assess the incremental tax impact of transactions

* Model and maintain tax positions and attributes for assigned companies

* Provide technical tax guidance to project teams, other capabilities, and supported businesses

* Build relationships across Koch companies to understand business activities and optimize tax positions

* Serve as the primary contact for tax authority inquiries and oversee written responses

* Drive process improvement, transformation, and automation to enhance team efficiency and scalability

* Develop internal talent by fostering a culture of economic thinking, providing coaching and feedback, help team members understand how their work creates and value, and empowering others to maximize their individual contributions to align with PBM

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* Progressive career in corporate/partnership taxation, tax accounting, or tax compliance

* Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects, drive initiatives forward, and communicate results

* 5+ years of direct supervisory/leadership experience

What Will Put You Ahead

* Experience in Investments or Private Equity space and management of consolidating and reporting significant amounts of external K-1s
