Data Center Material/Logistics Manager

Location: New Albany, OH


Position Overview


  • We are seeking a highly organized and proactive professional to support a leased program. This role will focus on material management, rack deployment schedule tracking, and project coordination across multiple workstreams.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, supply chain, material management, data center operations, or project coordination, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive execution in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

Material Management:

  • Manage inventory, procurement, and distribution of materials supporting the program.
  • Track material availability and usage to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve material and supply issues.
  • Identify potential material constraints and proactively communicate risks.


Rack Deployment Scheduling & Tracking:


  • Develop, maintain, and update rack deployment schedules.
  • Track deployment progress against planned timelines and milestones.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks, delays, and dependencies.
  • Provide regular schedule updates and status reporting to stakeholders.


Project Coordination:


  • Support Project Managers and team leads across multiple workstreams.
  • Coordinate meetings, document action items, and follow up on deliverables.
  • Maintain project trackers, reports, and documentation.
  • Assist with presentations, status updates, and other project communications.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities to keep projects moving according to plan.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Project Management, Operations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in material management, scheduling, logistics, or project coordination.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience supporting data center, infrastructure, or technology deployment projects.
  • Familiarity with rack deployment, data center operations, or hardware logistics.
  • Experience with inventory management, project tracking, or scheduling tools.
  • Strong Excel/data analysis skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience coordinating across vendors, contractors, and internal technical teams.
