The primary purpose of this position is to support the data oversight functions for the agency's Production section. This position will protect the Department's investment and manage the integrity and consistency to achieve alignment with national best practices, efficient use of data and tools to inform underwriting practices and identify gaps in training needs to facilitate streamlined underwriting and closing processes.

Three years' experience in either:
Preparing or analyzing residential, commercial, or public sector loan applications using cash flow, financial statements, historical and annual operation analyses; including collections and foreclosure procedures.

-OR-
Processing real estate transactions including qualifying, evaluating and extending credit to borrowers, and property inspections.

-OR-
Marketing, analyzing, servicing, or underwriting residential, commercial, or public sector loans; or
Economic or community development.

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economic, Finance, Accounting, or related field may substitute for the experience. An Associate's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration or a related field may substitute for 18 months of experience.

Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) is Oregon's housing finance agency. We provide financial and program support to create and preserve opportunities for quality, affordable housing for Oregonians of lower and moderate incomes. The Production Section of the Affordable Rental Housing Division administers federal, and state funded multifamily rental housing resources to facilitate the increased availability of safe, decent, and affordable housing for Oregonians with low incomes. The Production section administers competitive processes as well as other processes to dedicate funding resources. The section ensures policy objectives are met while meeting local needs and statewide priorities. The section also ensures long-term affordability through its financing.
