Diagnostic Tool Evaluator Location: Fountain Valley, CA Pay: $33.00-$36.50 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, Onsite Are you experienced with automotive diagnostics, technical support, or software testing? We are seeking a Diagnostic Tool Evaluator to support diagnostic scan tool testing, software updates, technical troubleshooting, and asset management activities. This temporary role is ideal for candidates with automotive service technology, dealership technician, diagnostic equipment, or software testing experience. Job Duties Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for diagnostic scan tool software releases and updates. Document test results and provide detailed feedback to software development teams. Support vehicle testing activities and validate diagnostic tool functionality. Investigate, troubleshoot, and help resolve diagnostic tool issues. Track and manage incidents using JIRA or similar ticketing systems. Coordinate software releases with engineering and technical teams. Provide internal technical support related to diagnostic software and connected devices. Manage hardware assets, including tracking, inventory, loaner devices, and returns. Configure and maintain Android tablets and related diagnostic equipment. Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements. Qualifications Automotive dealership technician experience preferred. Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic scan tools and automotive service technology. Experience with software testing, quality assurance, UAT, or technical troubleshooting. Familiarity with Android devices, software installation, and basic hardware support. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to document findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
