Join a pioneering organization dedicated to guiding families through significant, high-stakes decisions, making a profound impact on their lives. In partnership with Aquent, this company operates at the intersection of technology and human-centered service, empowering families to navigate complex life choices with confidence and clarity. They are committed to leveraging cutting-edge product strategies to ensure their platform remains a trusted authority, particularly in categories where expertise, credibility, and decision quality are paramount.

Are you a visionary product leader ready to shape the future of discovery and growth? This pivotal product leadership opportunity offers a unique chance to define how individuals find, trust, and choose essential services, driving sustained organic acquisition and innovating within the evolving landscape of AI-mediated discovery. You will be instrumental in building the product-led growth systems that transform initial interest into qualified, high-intent engagement, directly influencing market leadership and impact in a mission-driven environment.

What You'll Own and Deliver

  • Lead product strategy and roadmap for platform performance across traditional, AI-mediated, voice, and agentic search.
  • Translate SEO signals, algorithm shifts, and discovery changes into actionable product decisions and roadmap priorities, collaborating with specialists.
  • Define and evolve the company's presence across the AI-mediated discovery landscape, including AI search citations, conversational query coverage, structured data for AI grounding, MCP integrations, voice interfaces, and agentic endpoints.
  • Monitor and interpret shifts in AI platform behavior and discovery landscapes, translating insights into product guidance and prioritization.
  • Evolve AI discovery measurement frameworks and tooling to support new channels and novel approaches.
  • Build direct acquisition loops into product surfaces, integrating features like sharing, comparison tools, decision aids, and community-driven content.
  • Collaborate with product peers to embed product-led growth mechanics that drive organic acquisition without paid spend.
  • Define metrics, baselines, and targets for organic and AI discovery, sizing opportunities and leading learning agendas.
  • Translate ambiguous discovery signals into actionable product bets and investment recommendations.
  • Embed authority, expertise, and trust signals into product surfaces and content systems, vital for high-stakes decision categories.
  • Ensure AI systems accurately reflect credibility signals like review integrity, content quality, and decision support depth.
  • Develop a point of view on AI disintermediation risk and integrate it into the product roadmap.

Impact in Your First Year

  • Maintain and extend leadership in AI search citation share across evolving surfaces and query types.
  • Achieve accelerated organic acquisition growth in high-intent segments through a continuously improving product roadmap.
  • Launch and attribute at least one new distribution surface, such as an MCP integration, voice endpoint, or agentic integration.
  • Evolve the AI discovery measurement framework to effectively measure new channels and surfaces.
  • Meaningfully strengthen trust and authority signals within product surfaces, establishing a clear strategy for success in an AI-mediated world.
  • Implement at least one product-led growth loop within a core flow, successfully compounding organic acquisition without paid spend.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years of experience in SEO, organic growth, product strategy, or related roles.
  • Demonstrated depth in SEO fundamentals and a track record of shipping product surfaces that moved organic acquisition outcomes, not just advising on them.
  • A working point of view on how the search landscape is evolving: how AI-mediated discovery works, how to instrument and influence it, and where it's heading.
  • Comfort with ambiguous, evolving data sets and the ability to build measurement approaches where none exist yet.
  • Strong opinions on trust-sensitive, critical content and product systems.
  • Proven ability to write clear requirements, run experiments, partner closely with engineering, and own delivery end-to-end.
  • Experience facilitating alignment across senior stakeholders in ambiguous, cross-domain problem spaces.
  • Experience managing or mentoring other practitioners; a track record of elevating the product intuition and execution quality of the team around you.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Marketplace or aggregator experience.
  • Experience in regulated or health-adjacent domains.
  • Prior Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) work.
  • MCP or agentic distribution experience.
