Position Summary
This position will provide specialized support for the creation of grant-related materials including digital and print communications, promotional materials, presentations, informational resources, social media graphics, reports, educational materials and other visual content. In addition, the incumbent will develop and implement a social media strategy and support the office in other various work. This person must have the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects at any given time.

  • Ability to create banners and marketing materials.
  • Ability to design and redesign partner websites.
  • Ability to develop a social media strategy and post content.
  • Knowledge of social media strategies and other emerging media.

Duties/Responsibilities
Create multi-concept diagrams, banners and marketing materials.
o Work with multiple partners and SREF staff to create diagrams that demonstrate concepts and ideas and banners for display and marketing. Develop a suite of materials that can be used for marketing and education such as factsheets, infographics, information about projects, educational content (in shorter form), etc.

Design and redesign partner websites
o Work iteratively with multiple external partners and SREF staff to design websites and mobile applications for specific projects. Adapt designs based on feedback, test with others, and update to meet specific goals. Utilize knowledge of website design and media to inform partners and SREF staff of best practices, and advise all on which designs may work best. Repeat the same functionality for redesigns or updates of partner websites.

Social Media strategy and posting
o Develop a social media strategy for SREF and for specific projects with partners. Develop & post content regularly on at least 2 social media channels, and maintain accounts for the major social media channels. Advise partners and SREF staff about content ideas, relevance and success. Analyze data and report to SREF.
