What to Expect

This position is expected to start January 2027 and continue through Spring term (ending approximately May 2027) or continuing into Summer 2027 if available and there is an opportunity to do so. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program.Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.

International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

About the team:

ThisTechnicalProgram Managementintern willsupportnew vehicle programs- fromdevelopment and validationofearly prototype builds, throughstart ofproduction and ramp. They willcoordinatevehicle firmware releases by pushing the software organization to hit aggressive milestones. This role will support firmware rollouts to our engineering fleet, as well as the full vehicle life cycle, and working alongside a myriad of partners to support various engineering needs, such as prototype hardware retrofit campaigns, driving confidence accumulation, and more.


What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement fleet testing and validation improvements for faster engineering design cycle iterations
  • Coordinate software OTA rollout to our worldwide engineering fleet of prototype vehicles
  • Facilitate engineering vehicle allocation, tracking, use, andlogisticsacross all engineering teams worldwide
  • Support defining test metrics and tracking of progress towards those metrics
  • Design, develop andmaintainprocesses for engineering vehicle lifecycles worldwide
  • Support quarterly global engineering fleet auditsCoordinate prototype hardware retrofit campaigns - partnering with prototype shops to execute, ensuring part and firmware readiness

What You'll Bring
  • Currently pursuing a degree inEngineering, Management,or related field of study with a graduation date betweenMay 2027-May 2028
  • Ability to be resourceful, and autonomously drive solutions in ambiguous problem spaces
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced R&D environment on several different projects
  • Experience with Jira, SharePoint, Confluence
  • Basic knowledge of engineering fundamentals and product development lifecycle

    Expected Compensation
    $36.06 - $56.13 + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
