What to Expect
Tesla is pushing the boundaries of what a battery is capable of. We are looking for an engineer that will optimize both cell performance and lifetime. This role owns the cell testing and data analysis to support the battery management system which impacts the performance and reliability of all Tesla electric vehicles and energy products. In this role, you will manage the development and implementation of cell characterization tests needed to enable robust control strategies for cells of different chemistries. You will collaborate closely with the firmware and controls teams to set the limits for cell usage. You will identify and develop new cell testing schedules and techniques required to validate performance and lifetime across different cell chemistries and use cases. What You'll Do

$130,400 - $195,600/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
