Job Description
The Senior Executive Assistant plays a critical role in advancing the Division of Student Affairs' mission by providing high-level administrative and operational support that enables effective leadership, student-centered services, and divisional initiatives that promote student success. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple priorities, deadlines, records, and administrative processes with a high degree of independence and accuracy. Provide confidential executive support, exercising sound judgment, discretion, and proactive communication. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with university departments, students, community partners, and external stakeholders. Support divisional initiatives, special projects, major events, and cross-functional activities as needed. Calendar & Meeting Management Manage the Vice Provost's complex calendar, prioritizing appointments and coordinating meeting schedules. Anticipate scheduling conflicts and recommend effective solutions. Prepare schedules, briefing materials, agendas, and supporting documents. Monitor upcoming commitments and provide timely status updates. Meeting Coordination & Follow-Up Coordinate meetings, including agendas, materials, logistics, technology, and catering. Record and distribute meeting notes and follow-up communications. Track action items and ensure timely completion of assigned responsibilities. Executive & Administrative Support Manage correspondence, communications, approvals, and signature requests. Provide administrative support to Student Affairs leadership. Assist with divisional communications, projects, and operational needs. Office Operations & Records Management Maintain confidential records, filing systems, and office documentation. Coordinate office operations and administrative procedures. Ensure office equipment, supplies, and technology are maintained and functional. Foster a professional, organized, and responsive office environment. Project & Deadline Management Coordinate and monitor divisional projects, timelines, and deliverables. Track progress toward goals and deadlines, providing follow-up and reminders as needed. Identify potential delays and proactively facilitate timely completion of assignments. Customer Service & Stakeholder Relations Serve as a primary point of contact for the Office of the Vice Provost and Division of Student Affairs. Respond to inquiries professionally and route requests appropriately. Resolve routine issues independently and deliver exceptional customer service. Financial, Travel & Event Coordination Coordinate purchasing, travel arrangements, reimbursements, and conference logistics. Plan and support recognition programs, meetings, and special events. Employee Support Assist with onboarding and administrative support for new employees. Shift
8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with some occasional evenings to support campus activities. Minimum Qualifications

Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated starting hiring range for this position has been established as $55,000 - $61,000 annually. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck. The University of Missouri provides generous leave, health plans, and retirement contributions that add to your bottom line.
