Security Officer Full Time Computer Assisted Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time Computer Assisted Patrol in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. Use technology to document observations and communicate security-related concerns while contributing to Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, vendors, and/or guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout galleries, collection areas, offices, public spaces, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed, and maintain awareness of restricted areas and valuable items on display or in storage.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and daily activity logs for patrol findings, incidents, policy concerns, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
