Pay rate: $18.75/Hour

Position Details:

TheResident Account Assistantensures the highest level of service to all Representative Payee (Rep Payee) consumers, consistent with to the overall purpose of the company and the Social Security Administration. To comply with the company code of ethics, confidentiality practices, HIPAA, safety and all policies and procedures. The Resident Account Assistant will:




  • Monitor client deposits, account balances, outstanding payments, spending, and spend-down activity across collective accounts as well as conduct monthly reviews and follow up as needed.
  • Schedule and process bills, PNA requests, disbursements, debit card approvals/loads, and other beneficiary payments while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Set up new client accounts, complete beneficiary intakes, assess day-to-day needs, develop budgets, and explain the Representative Payee Program.
  • Monitor SSI recipients' income and resources to ensure compliance with allowable asset limits and promptly report changes affecting eligibility to Social Security, the Veterans Administration, or other applicable agencies.
  • Conduct scheduled annual Social Security reviews and assist beneficiaries with continuing disability update reports and reviews.
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations, accounting reports, check disbursements, and related financial documentation; accurately enter information into accounting systems and required databases.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential beneficiary records, including files, invoices, receipts, referrals, correspondence, and electronic and physical documentation; ensure records and statistical data meet agency standards and deadlines.
  • Provide responsive communication and support to beneficiaries and authorized agencies, develop relationships with community resource organizations, document referrals, process returned payments when required, and perform other assigned duties.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:



  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum two years working in an office setting, accounting, social services, or human services required.
  • Valid active driver's license required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Proficiency in office equipment operation including fax and copier/scanner.
