As Senior Brand Manager, Prego, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping the future of a category-leading business. This is a unique opportunity to lead a brand with exceptional household penetration, strong consumer affinity, and meaningful growth potential. You will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategy, identifying new growth opportunities, leading innovation and renovation initiatives, and delivering against ambitious business objectives.

This role requires a strategic, consumer-centric leader who can translate insights into action, influence cross-functional partners, and drive execution with excellence. The Senior Brand Manager will manage two direct reports and work closely with Sales, Finance, Consumer Insights, Consumer Experience, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to accelerate growth and strengthen Prego's leadership position.

What you will do...

Brand Strategy & Growth Leadership

  • Lead the development and execution of the annual Prego brand strategy and operating plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term growth ambitions.
  • Refresh & champion the brand's positioning and value proposition, ensuring all consumer touchpoints consistently reinforce the brand's equity and future direction
  • Identify and evaluate growth opportunities across households, usage occasions, product formats, channels, and consumer segments.
  • Lead business analytics to inform strategic decision-making, monitor performance, and recommend actions to achieve business objectives.

Consumer & Marketing Leadership

  • Partner with Consumer Experience to translate business objectives into breakthrough marketing execution and creative briefs.
  • Leverage consumer, shopper, and category insights to identify unmet needs and unlock growth opportunities.
  • Ensure all marketing and innovation activities reflect a deep understanding of consumer needs and behaviors.

Innovation & Portfolio Management

  • Lead the direction and execution of the innovation and renovation pipeline, from concept development through commercialization.
  • Partner closely with R&D, Insights, and Strategy teams to identify new product opportunities and strengthen the existing portfolio.
  • Drive cross-functional teams through stage-gate processes while ensuring project timelines, financial targets, and consumer objectives are achieved.
  • Collaborate with adjacent brand and innovation teams to identify opportunities for expansion into emerging growth spaces.

Business & Financial Management

  • Partner with Brand Finance to manage business performance and deliver sales, profit, consumption, and share objectives.
  • Lead monthly business reviews, consumption analysis, and forecast planning processes.
  • Identify risks and opportunities throughout the year and develop action plans to deliver annual operating plan commitments.
  • Manage marketing investments and resources to maximize return on investment and business performance.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Serve as the voice of the consumer and the brand across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships and influence across Sales, Finance, Consumer Experience, Insights, R&D, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership.
  • Manage and develop two direct reports, providing coaching, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What you bring to the table... (Must have)

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive brand management experience in CPG or a related industry.
  • Strong track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and growth initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience leading innovation, renovation, and integrated marketing programs.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and business performance.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Food industry and/or meal solutions experience preferred.

This role is based out of our HQ office in Camden, NJ 3 days we week (hybrid).

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$149,900-$206,100

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
