Job Summary:
As a Senior ServiceNow ITOM Discovery Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) Discovery modules. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, understanding client needs, and ensuring that the ITOM Discovery solution aligns with industry best practices.

• Configure and manage ServiceNow ITOM Discovery modules to ensure accurate and efficient discovery of infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their IT environment and requirements, providing expert guidance on ITOM Discovery best practices.
• Maintain and update service mapping, discovery patterns, probes, and sensors to support continuous improvement and data accuracy.
• Monitor and troubleshoot discovery-related issues, resolving them in a timely manner to minimize disruptions.
• Work closely with the ServiceNow development team to implement custom solutions and enhancements when necessary.
• Provide training and support to IT teams and end-users on ITOM Discovery functionality and usage.
• Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow ITOM Discovery updates and industry trends to recommend improvements and optimizations.
• Document configurations, processes, and procedures related to ITOM Discovery.
• Maintain the integrity of ServiceNow CMDB using CSDM framework.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• ServiceNow Certification for System Administrator is MUST.
• ServiceNow Certification for Implementation Specialist for ITOM Discovery is preferred.
• Proven experience in configuring and administering ServiceNow ITOM Discovery modules and Service Mapping.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, network protocols, and application architectures is a MUST.
• Strong knowledge and experience with ServiceNow CMDB and CSDM framework.
• Understanding of Cloud Provisioning, and integration of ServiceNow with cloud service providers' platforms.
• Knowledge & experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub is preferred.
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices is a plus.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Perl and PowerShell.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
