Position Summary:

As a Sales Operations Specialist for our Contract Logistics division, you will support the business development team by turning data, proposals, and processes into the tools the sales organization uses to win and retain business. You will build client-facing presentations and proposals, translate CRM, pricing, and performance data into clear reporting and visualizations, and manage the contract and document workflows that keep opportunities moving. This role calls for strong analytical and design skills, a high level of organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with limited direction.



Responsibilities

    Business Development Support: Support the sales team with lead generation and prospect research, using ZoomInfo and similar platforms to build target account lists, source and enrich contact data, and identify new opportunities within the 3PL sector.
  • Proposal Management: Develop client-facing sales presentations and proposals that clearly articulate the value of our 3PL services and solutions, ensuring content is accurate, well designed, and consistent with brand standards.
  • Sales Performance Reporting and Analysis: Build and maintain recurring internal reporting for sales performance, pipeline health, and pricing initiatives, translating CRM and operational data into clear visualizations and executive-level summaries that drive decision making.
  • Client-Facing Reporting and Business Reviews: Prepare recurring customer-facing reporting and business review materials, including KPI reviews and monthly and quarterly business reviews, partnering with customer success and operations to source and validate performance data.
  • Pricing and Rate Administration: Enter and maintain customer rates, support annual rate and CPI increase cycles, and coordinate with sales, solutions, and customer success to keep pricing records accurate and current.
  • Contract and Document Management: Manage contracts through the full lifecycle, including drafting support, DocuSign routing, approval tracking, and maintaining organized records of executed agreements and supporting documentation.
  • Sales Operations Support: Maintain CRM data quality and develop the templates, trackers, and standardized workflows that improve how the business development team operates.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, customer success, and solutions, to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any issues that arise.


Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, marketing, analytics, communications or a related field
  • Ability to build client-ready presentations and proposals in PowerPoint
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and building reports from large data sets
  • Demonstrated ability to turn raw data into clear, accurate visualizations and executive-level summaries. Power BI experience is preferred
  • Experience with CRM platforms, DocuSign, or contract management systems is preferred
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when working with pricing, contract, and reporting data
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Outstanding problem-solving, prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to remain professional, confident, and patient at all times.
  • Must be able to work effectively and contribute value with limited direction.
