Job Title: Treasury Specialist Company: American Commercial Barge Line Location: Jeffersonville, IN Job Type: Full-Time; Salary
Responsible for performing advanced cash management, treasury operations, credit and collections support, and banking activities within the Corporate Treasury function. Works independently to analyze cash activity, resolve complex transaction issues, support banking relationships, maintain treasury controls, and recommend process improvements. Serves as a subject matter expert for treasury processes and assists with special projects, audits, and system enhancements.

- Execute and monitor daily cash management activities, including cash positioning, forecasting support, account reconciliations, and liquidity monitoring.
- Administer payment processing activities, including ACH, wire transfers, check disbursements, and Accounts Payable payment controls while ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Manage positive pay processes, resolve exceptions, investigate bank transmission issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring errors.
- Analyze cash receipts, oversee complex application and reconciliation issues, and collaborate with Billing, Accounts Receivable, and operational teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Support short-term cash forecasting and provide analysis of cash flow trends, variances, and treasury-related metrics.
- Serve as a primary treasury contact for internal stakeholders, customers, and banking partners to resolve transaction concerns and improve service delivery.
- Review and evaluate customer credit requests, perform credit analysis, recommend credit limits, and assist with ongoing monitoring of customer credit risk.
- Administer corporate credit card programs, monitor compliance, manage account maintenance, and investigate exception activity.
- Maintain banking documentation, user access controls, account administration, and treasury-related system configurations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline treasury operations, improve controls, enhance reporting, and increase process efficiency.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Oracle.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.
Even better if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- 3-5 years of treasury, cash management, accounting, finance, banking, or related business experience in a transportation, manufacturing, distribution, or corporate environment
