Position Description

Evaluate reinforcing prior to 3rd party and inspection and communicate changes with crew Forman, while ensuring changes are made correctly.

Essential Job Functions

Duties include, but will not be limited to.

  • Precheck reinforcing/PT prior to 3rd party inspections and make sure they comply with structural drawings.
  • Communicate with rodbuster subs, 3rd party inspectors & Precision Supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Properly follow all company policies and MSHA & OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environmental best practices. Report any problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or Human Resources Manager.
  • Perform job tasks in accordance with industry best practices and requirements of the equipment (lifting, carrying, sitting, walking, and climbing)
  • Maintains quality of work in accordance with the standards specified in the design documents.
  • Maintains effective communications and coordination between the company and the design engineer to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
  • Walking and climbing ladders and working from heights
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

Experience / Requirements

  • 2 years of construction experience
  • Ability to read structural, rebar reinforcing, and PT drawings
  • Be willing to travel out of town
