The Campus Recruiter is responsible for developing and executing recruiting strategies focused on building talent pipelines through colleges, universities, trade and technical schools, military organizations, and other targeted talent communities. This role builds relationships with educational institutions and community partners, represents the Company at recruiting events, and identifies and engages students, recent graduates, transitioning military personnel, and other candidates for internships and entry-level opportunities.
The Campus Recruiter partners closely with business leaders, Hiring Managers, Human Resources (HR), and Talent Acquisition (TA) to understand workforce needs and develop recruiting strategies that support current and future talent requirements. This role also supports the planning and execution of the Company's internship program and other campus and early-career recruiting initiatives.
This position works under the direction of the Campus and Military Recruiting Manager and coordinates activities with Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Hiring Managers, and other stakeholders locally and regionally. Detailed Description:
Develop and execute recruiting strategies for colleges, universities, trade and technical schools, and other early-career talent sources.
Develop and maintain campus recruiting plans aligned with academic calendars, recruiting cycles, internship needs, and anticipated business hiring needs.
Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, faculty, career services teams, student organizations, and other external partners to strengthen the Company's talent pipeline and employer presence.
Plan and participate in career fairs, campus events, information sessions, career days, hiring events, and other recruiting activities.
Coordinate event logistics, including registration, scheduling, recruiting materials, staffing, candidate engagement, and post-event follow-up.
Present Company information and career opportunities to students, candidates, educational partners, and other groups.
Source, screen, interview, and assess candidates for internships, entry-level positions, skilled trades, engineering, and office/professional roles.
Partner with business leaders and HR to plan, coordinate, and execute the Company's internship program, including recruiting, onboarding coordination, program activities, and stakeholder engagement.
Post and promote open positions through appropriate career sites, educational institutions, social media, alumni networks, military and veteran communities, and other recruiting channels.
Maintain regular communication with HR and Hiring Managers regarding candidate pipelines, recruiting activity, hiring progress, and open positions.
Track and analyze recruiting activity, outreach efforts, candidate pipelines, hiring results, and other key recruiting metrics.
Prepare and provide recruiting reports, metrics, and statistics to management, including information required for EEO and related recordkeeping purposes.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, events, candidates, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to build effective working relationships with candidates, educational partners, Hiring Managers, HR, business leaders, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to travel to colleges, universities, trade and technical schools, military locations, career fairs, hiring events, regional offices, and other recruiting locations. Travel may include remote locations and overnight stays.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
1+ years of experience in campus, university, early-career, internship, or trade/technical school recruiting.
Experience working with colleges, universities, trade or technical schools, career services teams, student organizations, or other campus-based programs.
Experience planning, coordinating, or participating in career fairs, campus recruiting events, hiring events, or other talent outreach activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience building and maintaining relationships with colleges, universities, trade and technical schools, or other educational institutions.
Experience recruiting across multiple disciplines, including skilled trades, engineering, operations, and/or professional positions.
Additional Details: Work is primarily in a climate controlled / office environment with minimal safety / health hazard potential. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, or walk with occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending and frequent near vision use for reading and use of computer, telephone and other office equipment. Occasional travel to other Company offices and drilling rig work sites, often in remote locations may be required during normal rig operating conditions (day/night, outdoor hot/cold weather), and employee will be expected to properly use designated personal protective equipment (PPE). **Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
