Specialist, Food Services I

We are looking for a Food Service Worker to support daily food service operations. This role involves food preparation, serving customers, restocking supplies, cleaning, and assisting with various kitchen and catering duties as needed.

• Prepare food using approved recipes, procedures, and food safety practices.
• Perform routine tasks in food preparation and food service areas.
• Operate food preparation and serving equipment safely.
• Serve food and provide good customer service.
• Restock food supplies and maintain organized storage areas.
• Rotate and properly label food items and containers.
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Assist with cashier duties, catering deliveries, or other food service tasks as needed.
• Minimize food waste and production errors.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management.
• Assist with training new employees when assigned.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

• Ability to work in multiple food service areas, including food preparation, serving, cashiering, and cleaning.
• Previous food service, kitchen, restaurant, cafeteria, or catering experience preferred.
• Good organizational and judgment skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Fast-paced food service environment.
• Requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, and moving food supplies/equipment.
• Must follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
