Role Mission
As the Warehouse Lead you will play an important role in our customer-focused strategy by scheduling shipments and deliveries to our customers precisely and in a timely manner and ensuring the goods are packaged, labeled, and delivered in accordance with the customer's requests. You will also be a key member in communicating with our internal partners (sales, shops, etc.) regarding return requests and managing all repair pick-ups and returns to our customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and fresh inventory levels and constantly work to increase productivity with system and processing improvements for continued growth. This role will also lead the Warehouse and Driving teams.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Effectively manage the day-to-day operation of the warehouse including receiving, storing, and preparing products for shipment.
  • Improve warehouse operations by recruiting, selecting, training and coaching employees.
  • Manage warehouse operations by stock control, inventory management and motivating employees.
  • Develop warehouse operations systems by analyzing process workflow and implementing changes.
  • Manage the drivers and their workload and ensure full coverage where necessary.
  • Solve packaging challenges by developing, training, and documenting packaging instructions for bulk received items.
  • Work with internal team members to resolve any shipping or receiving issues in a timely manner.
  • Process all outbound shipping documents.
  • Manage all inventory locations accurately with receipts, returns, bin transfers and a consistent cycle count program.
  • Develop processes for performance improvement for Warehouse associates and delivery drivers.
  • Regularly appraise team members and carry out performance reviews.
Competencies
  • A bachelor's degree or associate degree in business administration is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of warehouse or distribution experience required.
  • Experience and/or the desire to investigate and offer warehouse improvement suggestions (ex. Automation) to increase productivity.
  • Excellent data entry and data processing skills.
  • Skilled in analyzing information and problem solving.
  • Ability to multitask on a team and alone.
  • Ability to manage processes successfully.
  • Previous supervisory experience required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills needed.
