Position Overview

NRI Staffing is seeking a highly organized and professional Executive Assistant to provide administrative and executive-level support

The Executive Assistant will work closely with senior leadership and serve as a key administrative point of contact. The successful candidate will be experienced in managing calendars, coordinating meetings, preparing correspondence and reports, tracking deadlines, maintaining records, and handling sensitive information with the highest level of discretion.

This is a long-term contract opportunity for an individual who is dependable, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working in a military environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior leadership and office personnel.

  • Apply established administrative principles, practices, and procedures to support daily office operations.

  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, to prepare and manage documents, correspondence, spreadsheets, presentations, and reports.

  • Manage calendars, appointments, schedules, meetings, conferences, and other leadership commitments.

  • Coordinate meetings and ensure required materials and information are prepared in advance.

  • Track deadlines, deliverables, suspense dates, action items, and other matters requiring timely completion.

  • Prepare, edit, format, organize, and maintain emails, letters, reports, presentations, briefing materials, and other correspondence.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact between leadership, installation organizations, community agencies, and external partners.

  • Answer and respond to telephone, email, and in-person inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

  • Attend meetings and conferences as requested and provide follow-up support to leadership.

  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise absolute discretion when handling sensitive, strategic, personnel, and personal information.

  • Handle sensitive personnel documents in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and guidance.

  • Scan, upload, organize, maintain, and retrieve electronic records and files.

  • Maintain accurate administrative and information-management records.

  • Support military protocol and administrative requirements as necessary.

  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with installation organizations, community agencies, and other stakeholders.

  • Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience providing executive, administrative, or office support.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing requests.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

  • Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with senior leadership, military personnel, government employees, and external organizations.

  • Familiarity with administrative information-management practices and procedures.

  • Ability to learn and follow military protocol and organizational procedures.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a polished and dependable administrative professional who can operate independently while supporting senior leadership in a fast-paced environment. The individual should demonstrate excellent judgment, confidentiality, communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate administrative needs.

Experience working in a military, federal government, legal, or similarly structured professional environment is highly desirable.

Compensation & Employment

Pay Rate: $33.00 per hour

This is a long-term full-time contract opportunity through NRI Staffing, with the potential for an extended assignment based on client requirements and performance.
