Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Employment Type: Temp to Perm (12 months)

Compensation: $54.13 /hr.
Schedule: 40 hrs/Week.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop and integrate software solutions across requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure effective hardware and software integration.
  • Create software test procedures and supporting verification documentation.
  • Participate in technical reviews and contribute ideas that improve system and software designs.
  • Support program cost, schedule, and technical objectives while helping deliver high-quality solutions on time.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in modern software development tools and practices, targeting embedded software development.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development, particularly utilizing object-oriented programming methodologies
What Sets You Apart:
  • Master's Degree.
  • Understanding of networking architecture and design principles.
  • Experience developing for embedded Linux.
  • Background with relevant technologies such as Kubernetes, FPGA/SOC, messaging middleware.
  • Experience developing with the Rust programming language.
  • Cisco certification or equivalent networking expertise.
  • Familiarity with secure comms or related digital signal processing disciplines.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary engineering environments.
  • Experience developing complex software systems across multiple domains.
  • Development experience using agile methodologies.
  • Good communication skills and documentation.
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • Requires an active Secret clearance.
