As a Security Patrol Driver Mall Shopping Center in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a premier retail and mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and deliver exceptional customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to established procedures.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
