Who we are looking for:

Cornerstone Capital Bank is looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Engineer. Someone who is passionate about providing technical solutions to complex business challenges, embracing Azure AD for cloud-based identity services, and supporting an active directory environment.



  • Location: Houston hybrid or San Antonio hybrid


  • Serve as the primary administrator and technical resource for Okta, with a focus on making Okta the organization's primary source of truth for identity and account information.
  • Manage Okta users, groups, SSO applications, SCIM provisioning, access reviews, authentication policies, and lifecycle management.
  • Develop and maintain Okta Workflows to automate provisioning, deprovisioning, access management, and other IT processes.
  • Troubleshoot SSO, authentication, provisioning, and application integration issues.
  • Support the transition away from Active Directory as the primary source of account information.
  • Design and implement automation using Okta Workflows, Azure Automation, PowerShell, Power Automate/Flow, and APIs.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve efficiency, security, and scalability.
  • Develop system integrations and automated workflows to support identity and IT operations.
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, licensing, permissions, and user/group administration.
  • Administer Exchange Online mail flow, mail policies, user/groups, and related email services.
  • Monitor system health and identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Support Active Directory user/group management, DNS, and GPO administration as the organization transitions to Okta.
  • Manage DNS and domains through Cloudflare, GoDaddy, and Encirca.
  • Configure and maintain DNS records and enable domains within M365 for email.
  • Support email authentication technologies including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for identity, M365, and security.
  • Partner with IT teams on projects, integrations, and process improvements.
  • Perform product and integration testing and maintain technical documentation.



What you'll need to be successful:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, other related field, or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant IT and business work experience and 4 years proven OKTA experience
  • Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure as well as Active Directory, OKTA, & Microsoft "cloud" solutions (Microsoft 365, Azure)
  • Requires demonstrated ability to be involved with multiple IT projects and deliver on time and within budget
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and build relationships with people within different levels of an organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
