Job Description




As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Incident Documentation in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $24.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Possess 3+ years of security-related, military, or law enforcement experience or an associate's degree in criminal justice.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
