Security Officer Entry Control Driver

As a Security Officer Entry Control Driver in Lakewood, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, and maintaining a professional presence. You will conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and driver logs, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Observe vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian traffic at entry and exit points; report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
