As a Branch Banking Specialist, you are the face of the bank, building meaningful relationships while helping customers confidently manage their everyday financial needs. This front-line role blends exceptional customer service with financial expertise, ensuring each interaction is welcoming, efficient, and accurate. You will handle a variety of transactions while engaging customers in thoughtful conversations to understand their goals, answer questions, and recommend solutions that truly fit their needs. Required Education and Experience:
Work Environment: This job operates in a branch office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and multifunction printer/scanner/copier devices. In addition to standard office equipment, this role also uses cash and coin counters and, in some cases, a teller cash recycler. The position requires the ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the office or branch environment for extended periods; perform routine office tasks; communicate effectively; interact with customers and team members; and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Frequent use of standard office equipment and extended periods of viewing computer screens and reviewing detailed information are required. The role also requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, bend, stoop, and lift or carry materials, including up to 50 pounds of bulk coin/currency.
